Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suat Batar is an orthopedic surgeon at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine in 2016.
His professional experience includes positions at Malatya Yazıhan State Hospital (2010-2011), Taksim Training and Research Hospital (2011-2013), Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine Hospital (2013-2017), Mardin Kızıltepe State Hospital (2017-2018), Istanbul Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital (2018-2024) and Private Bursa Nev Anadolu and Nev Esentepe Hospitals (2024-2025) before joining Biruni University in 2025.
His clinical interests include foot and ankle surgery, arthroplasty, sports injuries surgery, knee and shoulder surgery, trauma surgery and deformity surgery. He is the author of numerous articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals and holds the TOTBID-TOTEK proficiency exam success certificate.
He is a member of leading national orthopedic societies including TOTBİD, TOTDER, TUSYAD and the Foot and Ankle Surgery Branch of the Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
