Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suna Koç is an anesthesiologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine, where she serves as Associate Professor. She completed her medical education at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine (1993–1999) and her residency in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Marmara University (2005–2011). She joined Kemerburgaz University as Assistant Professor in 2013 and has served at Biruni University since 2024.
Her clinical interests include general anesthesia, cardiovascular (KVC) anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, regional anesthesia, ECMO, sepsis, brain death and organ donation processes and ARDS. Her research focuses on intensive care, sepsis, hemoadsorption therapies and critical COVID-19 management, with numerous articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation (TARD), the Turkish Society of Intensive Care and the Society of Chest Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
