Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre SALABAŞ

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Salabaş is a urologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, focusing on men's health, andrology and minimally invasive urologic surgery. He completed his undergraduate medical education (2001–2008) and his specialty training in Urology (2008–2014) at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Following compulsory service as a specialist at Kızıltepe State Hospital (2014–2016), he served as Assistant Professor at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine (2016–2020), Associate Professor at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital (2020–2024) and Associate Professor and Clinical Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital (2024–2025) before returning to Biruni University.

His clinical interests include BPH and HOLEP laser prostate surgery, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease and penile curvature surgery, penile prosthesis implantation, hypogonadism, male infertility, microsurgical varicocele repair and microscopic TESE, laparoscopic surgery for prostate, bladder and kidney cancers, endoscopic treatment of kidney and bladder stones, chronic prostatitis and HPV/condyloma treatment. He is the author of numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to leading international textbooks in urology and sexual medicine.
