Op. Dr. Nadi Nazım ÖZTÜRK

Op. Dr. Nadi Nazım Öztürk is a general surgery specialist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, where he has practised since 2026. Hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease, organ transplantation and minimally invasive oncologic surgery make up the core of his surgical work.

He graduated from Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine in 2013 and completed his general surgery residency at the General Surgery Clinic of Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital between 2014 and 2020.

He then worked in the Hepatobiliary Surgery Service of Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital (2020–2023) and at the Hepatobiliary Surgery and Organ Transplantation Clinic of BAU Göztepe Medical Park Hospital (2023–2025).

The procedures he performs include hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, minimally invasive oncologic surgery, and liver and kidney transplantation.

His published work appears in European Archives of Medical Research and the European Journal of Case Reports in Internal Medicine — on artificial intelligence in surgery and on intestinal obstruction caused by abdominal cocoon syndrome — alongside congress papers on laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration and regional anaesthesia in laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and a Turkish book chapter on acute cholangitis. He belongs to the International Society of Liver Surgeons, the European Union of Medical Specialists, the Turkish Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Association and the Turkish Surgical Association.
