Our Vision
Biruni University Hospital's vision is integrated, patient-centred care combining clinical expertise, academic training and research, for patients worldwide.
Our vision is a hospital where clinical expertise, academic scholarship and attentive patient care work together, rather than as separate departments. We are working toward integrated, patient centred care that reaches beyond Istanbul, for patients from the Eastern Mediterranean region and further afield.

Our vision
A hospital works best when its clinical teams, its academic staff and the people caring for a patient day to day are not operating in isolation from one another. That is the model we are building toward: care planned and delivered as one coordinated effort, not handed between departments with little communication.
Care that reaches beyond Istanbul
A patient's location should not decide what care is realistically available to them. We want someone arriving from another country to be able to reach relevant specialists, diagnostic tools and treatment options in one place, rather than moving between several institutions to complete a single course of care.
To work toward that, we invest in our staff, our equipment and our internal processes, and we keep our clinical practice aligned with current international guidelines as they are revised.
Academic and research focus
On the academic side, our aim is for research to sit inside daily clinical work rather than beside it, and for residents and fellows to train under structured, hands on supervision.
