Assistant Professor Onuralp Çalışkan

Assistant Professor Onuralp Çalışkan is an emergency medicine specialist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.

He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2013 and completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital (Ministry of Health) in 2022.

He worked as a general practitioner at Bilecik M.S.Ç. Hospital (2013–2015) and Bayrampaşa Hospital (2015–2018), and subsequently as an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital (2022–2023), where he also served in the Toxicology Intensive Care Unit (2023–2024). He later held positions at Medical Park Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital (2024–2025), İstinye University Department of Emergency Medicine (2024–2026) and Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–2026) before joining Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital in 2026.

His clinical interests include critical patient management, polytrauma patient management, toxicology, intensive care, cardiac emergencies and advanced life support.

His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, and he has contributed a chapter to a Turkish textbook on first aid and basic life support. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association.
