Quality Policy

Biruni University Hospital's quality policy: Temos International Healthcare accreditation, tracked clinical indicators, and monthly committee reviews.

Biruni Hospital's quality policy is built on the principle that patient safety and clinical quality are basic requirements, not optional extras. We aim to evaluate our processes and protocols against this standard, and we maintain an active quality management system to support that work.

Already have your records? We can review them at no cost.

Send us your existing test results, imaging and doctor's notes, and our international patient office will review them and get back to you with next steps.

Our standard

Patient safety is treated as a baseline requirement rather than an aspiration. That means processes and protocols are meant to be checked against it, not assumed to already meet it.

Biruni University Hospital holds Temos International Healthcare Accreditation for Quality in Medical Care, certificate number TR0187JUN2024, first issued in June 2024 and valid until May 2027.

Data-driven review

Key indicators are tracked across departments on an ongoing basis, including infection rates, surgical complication rates, readmission rates, patient satisfaction scores, and turnaround times for diagnostic results. A quality committee meets monthly to review this data and to initiate corrective action where a benchmark is not met.

Staff responsibility

Quality is treated as a shared responsibility rather than one department's task. Staff, from senior clinicians to support personnel, receive regular training in patient safety and hygiene protocols.

Staff are encouraged to raise concerns through a transparent reporting process, so that risks can be identified and addressed early rather than after the fact.
