Oncology Male Check-Up
PSA, a stool test for hidden bowel bleeding, a whole abdominal ultrasound and three more tumor markers with the liver chemistry that gives them meaning. Twenty-five items, and every result back the same afternoon.
About This Department
Twenty-five checks, and every one of them answered before you go home.
PSA, a stool test for hidden bowel bleeding, a whole abdominal ultrasound and three more tumor markers, with the liver and kidney chemistry that makes sense of them. Nothing here waits on a laboratory for days. It is the one panel where the full result set arrives the same afternoon.
Everything Included in the Oncology Male Panel
A physician consultation with two imaging studies, four tumor markers, urine and stool analysis and fifteen laboratory tests, all under a single price.
The ultrasound is the item doing the heavy lifting. One pass covers liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, bladder and prostate, which happens to be four of the organs your marker panel is asking about.
Four numbers drawn together, read together, and kept as your personal baseline. What they can and cannot settle is spelled out plainly further down this page.
The stool test looks for bleeding too small to see, which is how bowel cancer gets caught while it is still easy to treat. A small sample is needed, and a sterile container is provided by our team.
Six liver tests underneath one liver marker is the right proportion. An alpha-fetoprotein figure means something quite different depending on whether the enzymes and the bilirubin around it are normal.
Strip this panel back and two items are doing the real screening work, the PSA and the stool test. Those are the two checks men delay longest and the two where finding something early changes the outcome most. Everything around them is there to make those two readable. The abdominal ultrasound looks straight at the prostate, the liver and the pancreas. The liver enzymes give the alpha-fetoprotein figure its context. The blood count catches the quiet anemia that a slowly bleeding bowel produces. Twenty-five items sounds modest next to a hundred-item executive package, and for a man whose question is specifically about cancer it is aimed rather better.
On a narrow screen the table below scrolls left and right.
| Inside the panel | Add at booking, or look at another package |
|---|---|
| Total PSA and a complete abdominal ultrasound | A urology examination, and free PSA with the free to total ratio |
| Fecal occult blood test for hidden bowel bleeding | Colonoscopy, which is what settles the cause of any bleeding |
| CEA, CA 19-9 and alpha-fetoprotein with full liver chemistry | Gastroscopy, if reflux or stomach trouble is part of the picture |
| Chest X-ray and fifteen organ-function tests | Low-dose lung CT, which is the real screening tool for smokers |
| Closing consultation with a written report | The Executive package, if you want endoscopy and cross-sectional imaging too |
What This Panel Is Looking For
Prostate and Bowel, Finished by Lunch
A PSA figure and a stool test for invisible bleeding. Neither takes any real time. Both get put off for years, which is precisely why bundling them into one morning is what finally gets them done.
An Ultrasound That Earns Its Place
Fatty liver, gallstones, kidney cysts and an enlarged prostate all turn up here, and none of them announces itself first. It is also the reason your marker figures never have to stand on their own.
The Whole Panel Reports Today
No biopsy, no cytology, nothing that needs a pathologist and a week. All twenty-five items are back inside the afternoon. You fly home holding the answer instead of waiting on an e-mail.
Numbers You Can Measure Against Next Year
A first PSA is worth most for what it makes possible afterwards. A figure that climbs steadily means something a single reading never can, and this panel gives you the first point on that line.
How the Day Runs
Registration and Samples, 9am
One fasting draw supplies all fifteen laboratory tests and the four markers. The urine and stool containers go in at the same desk. Breakfast follows immediately.
Abdominal Ultrasound While You Are Still Fasting
An empty gallbladder is far easier to read than a full one, so the scan happens before you eat. The sonographer works through liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, bladder and prostate in a single session.
Chest X-Ray and the Laboratory Turnaround
The chest film takes minutes and a radiologist reports it the same day, alongside the ultrasound. Meanwhile the bloods and the markers work through the laboratory, all of them on same-day turnaround.
Everything Explained, Around 4pm
The check-up physician has the complete panel in front of him, markers beside scans beside chemistry, and goes through it with you face to face. You leave with a written report and no outstanding result to wait for.
Getting Ready
Tell the coordinator if you have cycled hard, had a prostate examination, or had a urinary infection recently.
Every one of those lifts a PSA figure by itself, and a healthy prostate can end up producing an alarming number for no reason whatever. Mention it in advance and the physician reads the result in context, or moves the draw by a few days. On a panel this focused, getting that one number right matters more than anywhere else.
A small stool sample is required for the fecal occult blood test. A sterile sample container will be provided by our team.
It reaches you with the appointment confirmation, so it never becomes a surprise at the desk on the morning. Bring it back with you when you come in and hand it over with the urine sample.
Eat dinner as normal and stop there. One instruction, eight clear hours, and it covers the glucose, the HbA1c and the gallbladder view all at once.
Is This the Right Panel for You?
- You want cancer screening specifically, and not a general check-up
- Prostate, bowel, liver or pancreatic cancer in the family
- Past 45 with no PSA figure on record anywhere
- One day is all the time your trip allows
- You want a baseline you can repeat cheaply every year
- A previous marker came back raised and you want it looked at properly
This panel screens a man who feels well. Where a symptom is already there, what you need is a diagnosis, and that is a different appointment with a different specialist.
- Blood in the urine or the stool that you have already seen
- Difficulty passing urine, or pain when you do
- Unexplained weight loss, or a cancer already being investigated
Open to men from 18 upwards, with no upper age limit. The prostate half of the panel starts to earn its place around 45, which is roughly where most national guidelines open the PSA conversation.
Three Things to Understand Before You Book
A urology consultation sits outside this panel. The PSA is drawn and the ultrasound looks at your prostate, and the check-up physician reads both. Where the figure comes back raised, a urologist is who you want next. That appointment can be added at booking, and the Integrum, Nova Vita and Executive male packages all carry one as standard, so ask us which route makes sense for you.
Tumor markers monitor rather than diagnose. No figure on this list can tell you whether you have cancer. A man with cancer can show entirely normal markers, and a man with nothing wrong can show a raised one. A mildly high PSA is usually benign enlargement or prostatitis rather than anything worse. What the panel gives you is a baseline plus a physician reading it beside your scan on the day.
The stool test finds bleeding and stops there. Hemorrhoids account for far more positive results than cancer does, and only a colonoscopy settles which it is. That procedure sits outside this panel and can be arranged here or by your own doctor at home.
Ask first whether the panel or the package is what you need
Message us your age, what runs in your family and roughly when you could travel. Attach an old PSA figure or a previous scan if you hold one. A physician looks at it and tells you whether these 25 items settle your question, or whether a urologist ought to come with them. Nothing is charged for that.
Coming to Istanbul for the Day
Land the evening before so the fast runs overnight, then give the following day to the hospital and fly whenever suits you afterwards. A third night is only worth it if you want room for a urology appointment.
One blood draw is the most invasive part of the day. No sedation, no recovery, and every result already in your hands by late afternoon.
Passport, the stool container, your medication list, and any earlier PSA, ultrasound or liver result. Comparison against last year is worth more than any single figure taken alone.
You talk to the physician directly, with nobody interpreting between you. English, Arabic, French, Russian, Serbian, Romanian and Spanish are all spoken in house, and other languages get arranged once you ask at booking.
Airport pickup and the hotel car are arranged by the office. You may bring two relatives into the examination rooms. Where a visa is needed, the invitation letter goes out roughly ten days ahead of the trip.
Nothing is left outstanding, so there is no report to wait for. The same WhatsApp number stays open for questions, and a PSA repeated locally next year can be sent in for comparison.
Reading a Cancer Screening Quote Properly
A long list of tumor markers looks impressive on a brochure and costs almost nothing to run, which is why marker-heavy panels are the easiest kind to advertise. The imaging and the consultations are where the money and the value actually sit. Five questions will show you what you are buying.
No figure appears on this page. A number printed here would be wrong for most men who read it, and out of date within a season. Write in with your age and the weeks that could work, and the reply itemizes the panel plus anything you raised. Asking about it costs you nothing at all.
