Child Check-Up
Four specialist examinations, a hearing test and eight laboratory tests between 9am and 4pm, with every result read back to you before you leave the hospital.
About This Department
One day. Four specialists. Nine tests. Results before you leave.
Growth, vision, hearing, dental, iron and kidney health, all checked in one day in Istanbul, with a pediatrician reading every result back to you the same afternoon.
Everything Included in the Child Check-Up
One price, one schedule, and no testing fees hidden inside the package.
Painless, takes seconds, and works on a child too young to answer questions. It finds the hidden fluid behind the eardrum that quietly slows speech and reading.
Two blind spots covered at once. Urinary infections stay silent because a small child cannot describe the symptom, and intestinal parasites show under the microscope long before they show in a complaint.
A child empties the iron store months before a basic hemoglobin reading calls it anemia, and spends that whole time tired, pale and unable to concentrate while the simple test still looks normal. Ferritin, serum iron and total binding capacity find the shortage at that earlier stage. WHO issued guidance in 2020 on exactly this, because iron shortage in the first two years affects brain development in ways later treatment does not fully undo.

Why Families Fly In for a Single Day
Four Appointments Become One
Pediatrics, eyes, ENT and dental in the same building on the same morning. At home that is four referrals and four separate waits.
One Doctor Connects the Dots
The pediatrician reads the laboratory results next to what the other three specialists found, then explains the whole picture to you in one conversation.
A Report Your Own Doctor Can Act On
Ask for it in English and it is prepared that way, with values and reference ranges any pediatrician at home can use without a translation.
You Find Out Before You Fly
Send the details first. A pediatrician reads your child's history and, if this is the wrong package for the question you are asking, says so plainly while the trip is still just an idea rather than a booking.
Your Day, Step by Step
Arrival and Growth Measurements, 9am
Height, weight and head circumference, plotted on a growth chart. Bring any earlier measurements you have, because the shape of the curve over time says far more than a single point measured on one morning.
Samples, One Needle Only
A single draw covers all six blood tests. The urine sample is given on arrival or brought from home in a container we supply.
Four Examinations and the Hearing Test
Pediatrics, eyes, ENT and dental, with tympanometry beside the ENT visit. Most of it happens while the laboratory works on the samples.
Results Explained, Then Home, Around 4pm
Every result is back inside that window, so the pediatrician goes through the whole picture with you before you leave, and you take a written report with you. Nothing waits for an e-mail the following week.
Is This Check-Up Right for Your Child?
- A yearly baseline before nursery or school starts
- Tiredness that sleep does not fix, pale skin, or slipping concentration
- Fussy eaters, narrow diets, and milk-heavy toddlers
- Snoring, mouth breathing, or waking unrefreshed
- One ear or throat infection after another
- Families who have moved countries and want one complete record
This package is built for a well child. If your child is unwell right now, flying abroad is the slow and expensive route to an answer, and we would rather say so before you buy a ticket.
- A fever that will not settle, or laboured breathing
- A rash that does not fade when pressed, a limp, or any sudden change in alertness
- A seizure, a known diagnosis under follow-up, or a developmental concern already being investigated
The package covers children from birth to 18, and the examinations are pitched to the age in front of the doctor. Pediatric guidance in most countries recommends a health review once a year after the age of two or three, while infants are seen far more often on a schedule tied to vaccinations and developmental milestones.
Send your child's age and what you have noticed
Add any recent blood results or a growth chart if you have them. One of our pediatricians reads it and comes back with a straight answer on whether this package covers your question, which tests are worth adding, and what the trip involves. No cost, no obligation.
Coming to Istanbul With Your Family
One to arrive and settle, one for the check-up, one held free in case a result leads to an extra test. Add a fourth if the parents book adult check-ups too.
Nothing here is invasive beyond one blood draw, so no medical restriction applies to the flight back.
Two family members go into the examination rooms with the child, so nobody waits in a corridor. Interpreting is arranged in whatever language your family speaks.
Where a visa is needed, the letter goes out about ten days before travel. What the consulate then asks for differs by country, so tell us which passport your child holds.
Passport, vaccination record, previous blood results, the growth chart, glasses if worn, and a breakfast for straight after the blood draw.
Questions about the report still reach the team on the same WhatsApp number weeks later. Send the local result with your question and you get an interpretation of it.
Reading a Quote Properly
No figure is published on this page, because what a check-up costs depends on what gets added to it and a headline number is wrong for almost every family who reads it. Ask any hospital these five questions and the comparison becomes real.
Send your child's details and the team comes back with a written breakdown built around your child's age. That review is free.
