Specialist Surgeon Dr. Gürkan Gürsoy

Specialist Surgeon Dr. Gürkan Gürsoy is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Biruni Hospital, with a clinical focus on high-risk pregnancy follow-up, gynecological diseases, and genital aesthetic procedures. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty from 2007 to 2013, followed by his specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2014 to 2018. He subsequently practiced at Şavşat State Hospital from 2018 to 2020, Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital from 2020 to 2022, and Şişli Memorial Hospital from 2022 to 2024. His clinical interests include normal non-invasive birth, water birth, and vaginal birth after cesarean section, particularly within mother-and-baby-friendly hospital settings, as well as laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, colposcopy, uterine-sparing surgery, and the management of polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause, and persistent vaginal infections. He has performed more than 500 surgical and non-surgical genital aesthetic procedures, including vaginal PRP, vaginal laser, and vaginal filling, along with over 100 vaginal rejuvenation cases.
