Specialist Dentist Dr. Ümit Selçuk

Specialist Dentist Dr. Ümit Selçuk is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialist at Biruni Hospital Dental Clinic.

Dr. Selçuk graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University in 2007 and completed a PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ondokuz Mayıs University Institute of Health Sciences in 2012.

Dr. Selçuk worked as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist at Private Hospitadent Mecidiyeköy Dental Hospital (2012-2019), Private Ata Dental Polyclinic (2019-2022) and Private Turkeyana Dental Hospital (2022-2024), before joining Biruni Hospital Dental Clinic in 2024.

Clinical interests include dental implant applications, advanced implant surgery, bone and soft tissue augmentation and reconstructions, seamless implant applications, implant applications in extremely atrophic jaws, zygomatic implant applications, and the treatment of impacted teeth, cysts and tumours.

Dr. Selçuk is a member of the Association of Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Surgery (AÇBİD), the Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society (TAOMS), the Zygomatic Implant Network (ZAGA), the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Turkish Dental Association (TDB).
