Sefanur Dalarslan Karakaya

Sefanur Dalarslan Karakaya is a Family Physician at Biruni University Hospital. She graduated as a Medical Doctor (MD) from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 1989.

She worked as a Primary Care Physician in Sivas, an Emergency Physician at a State Hospital in Şarkışla, Sivas, in Preventive Medicine and Obesity Medicine in Kartal and Maltepe, Istanbul, and as a Family Physician at a Family Medicine Center (ASM) in Kartal, Istanbul, before joining Biruni University Hospital.

Her clinical interests include functional and integrative medicine, medical nutrition and elimination diets, autoimmune diseases, lifestyle medicine and epigenetics, intestinal permeability (leaky gut), liver diseases, candida, insulin resistance and obesity treatment, longevity, temperament medicine, aromatherapy and Schüssler salts, preventive medicine, skin diseases and histamine sensitivity, brain fog and memory impairment, hyperactivity, and depression and anxiety disorders.
