Psychologist Aybige Üstüner

Aybige Üstüner is a psychologist providing care at Biruni Hospital, working with child, adolescent and adult clients.

She graduated from Yeditepe University in 2021 with a double major in Psychology and Guidance and Psychological Counseling, both completed with High Honors. She went on to complete her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with thesis, at Istanbul Aydın University (2021-2023), graduating with Honors.

During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she completed internships at Private Canım Ruhum Psychological Counseling Center, Ümraniye Guidance and Research Center and Şehit Öğretmen Mehmet Fidan Primary School, and volunteered in social responsibility activities such as workshops, peer counseling and school aid projects in public schools.

Since 2023, she has been working with child, adolescent and adult clients at Biruni Hospital, and since 2024 she has also served as a corporate psychologist for corporate companies.

Her clinical interests include cognitive behavioural therapy (including with children and adolescents), EMDR therapy, psychodynamic therapy, experiential play therapy, short-term solution-focused therapy, art therapy techniques, the Cognitive Assessment System (CAS), intelligence and psychology tests, and objective child assessment tests, as well as anxiety disorders, depression, attachment problems, school adaptation and behavioural problems, peer bullying, peer relationships, boundary problems, emotion regulation skills, toilet, sleep and eating problems, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder and phobias. She is a member of the EMDR Turkey Association.
