Prof. Dr. Oğuzhan Öztürk is a gastroenterologist specializing in advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, and POEM treatment of achalasia, as well as fatty liver disease, hepatitis B and C, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and became a specialist in Internal Medicine at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, later completing his Gastroenterology subspecialty in 2011 at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. He began working as Chief Assistant at the University of Health Sciences Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital in 2013, and in 2017 was awarded the title of Associate Professor while continuing at the same institution, eventually serving as Administrative Head of its Gastroenterology Clinic. He currently practices at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. He has focused extensively on advanced endoscopic procedures and has participated in international pharmaceutical studies on fatty liver disease, resulting in a substantial body of international peer-reviewed publications. In outpatient settings, he also treats other gastrointestinal disorders and chronic diseases. He has received presentation awards from national and international gastroenterology congresses and is a member of the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology, the Turkish Association of Liver Research, and the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society.
