Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yaman is a pulmonologist specializing in Chest Diseases, with a particular focus on lung nodule follow-up and interventional bronchoscopy. He completed his residency training and earned his Master of Science degree at Istanbul University's Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, later completing his specialization in Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis at the same institution. Over the course of his academic career, he served as Associate Professor and then Professor at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, spending time as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Allergy Clinic of Rothschild Hospital in Paris, before going on to serve as Medical Director at Universal Hospitals Group, Kolan Hospital Şişli, and Memorial Şişli Hospital. His clinical and research interests center on lung nodules, lung cancer, bronchoscopic procedures, asthma, COPD, and chronic respiratory conditions. He is a member of several scientific societies, including the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), the European Respiratory Society, and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and previously served as President of the Respiratory Research Society of Turkey.
