Prof. Dr. Murat Arslan is an obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in infertility, IVF treatment, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, and reproductive endocrinology. He completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine's English program before undertaking his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, later pursuing a clinical research fellowship at The Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, in Norfolk. He began his academic career as Assistant Professor at Süleyman Demirel University and Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, and went on to found and direct IVF units at Bursa Acıbadem Hospital, Bursa Medical Park Hospital, Bursa Pembe Mavi IVF Center, and Bursa ART IVF Center, achieving the title of Associate Professor along the way. He served as Head of Department and later Professor at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, subsequently directing the IVF Unit at Acıbadem International Hospital and founding the Momart IVF Center, before returning to Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital in 2025. He completed Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Training at Acıbadem University in 2016. His research has focused extensively on IVF outcomes, endometrial receptivity, and reproductive endocrinology, resulting in a substantial body of international peer-reviewed publications with an SCI-Expanded H-index of 14. He is a member of the American Society for Reproduction Medicine (ASRM), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the IVF and Infertility Association, the Turkish Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, the Society of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Techniques, and the Turkish Andrology Association.
