Prof. Dr. Güzide Turanlı is a pediatric neurologist specializing in epilepsy and resistant epilepsy, electrophysiology (EEG), epilepsy surgery, cerebral palsy, and headache. She completed her medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine before undertaking her residency in Pediatrics and subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, where she later pursued doctoral studies in Clinical Electrophysiology. Her career included an observership in epilepsy surgery at the University of Zurich's Department of Neurology in Switzerland, and she progressed through the academic ranks at Hacettepe University, from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and then Professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, before later practicing at Istanbul Medipol Hospital and currently at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Her research has focused extensively on pediatric epilepsy, epilepsy surgery outcomes, and EEG monitoring, resulting in a substantial body of international peer-reviewed publications, including work published in The Lancet Neurology and Annals of Neurology.
