Op. Dr. Enes Serhat Coşkun joined Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital in 2026 as a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology. Minimally invasive surgery — laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and V-NOTES — together with pelvic floor reconstruction and benign gynaecological disease, makes up most of his practice, alongside routine obstetric care.
He graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2015 and trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Health Sciences, Gaziosmanpaşa Taksim Training and Research Hospital from 2018.
Between 2015 and 2018 he worked as a family physician at several centres in Istanbul. After his residency he was a specialist at Simav Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Karakuyu State Hospital (2023–2025), then returned to Gaziosmanpaşa Training and Research Hospital (2025–2026).
His clinical interests run from endometriosis, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts to uterine and bladder prolapse, menstrual irregularity and abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome, HPV and genital wart treatment, colposcopy, vaginal infections, genital aesthetic procedures and pregnancy follow-up.
He publishes actively — in the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, the International Urogynecology Journal, the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research, Scientific Reports and BMC Women's Health among others — largely on V-NOTES and laparoscopic approaches to pelvic organ prolapse, surgical outcomes and reproductive endocrinology, and has written international book chapters. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association and an association representative for ACOGS (Aesthetic Cosmetic Gynecology & Sexology).
