Op. Dr. Bahar HUSEYNOVA

Op. Dr. Bahar Huseynova is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Biruni University Hospital.

She completed her medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University and began her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Azerbaijan Obstetrics and Gynaecology Training and Research Hospital. She continued her specialty training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine (2014–2017) and at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine (2017–2019).

She worked at Private Safa Hospital Yenibosna (2019–2025) before joining Biruni University Hospital in 2025.

Her clinical interests include normal and high-risk pregnancy monitoring, vaginal and surgical delivery management, gynaecological diseases, abdominal, vaginal and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, urogynaecology, menopause, aesthetic and functional genital procedures, and a preventive, holistic approach to women's health.

She has completed further training in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, sexual therapy and genital aesthetics. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Turkish Medical Association, the Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery, the Federation of Sexual Health Associations and the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG), and speaks Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
