Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senem TEKEOĞLU

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senem Tekeoğlu is a rheumatology specialist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the English Medicine Program of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2004, completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2011 and her subspecialty training in Rheumatology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2017. Her professional experience includes internal medicine practice at Ayvacık State Hospital (2011–2014), internal medicine and rheumatology practice at Batman Regional State Hospital (2017–2019) and rheumatology specialist positions at Memorial Hizmet Hospital (2019–2024) and Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital (2024–2025) before joining Biruni University in 2025.

Her clinical interests include ankylosing spondylitis, Behçet's disease, arthritis, connective tissue diseases, crystal arthropathies such as gout and pseudogout, myositis, systemic lupus erythematosus and vasculitis. She is the author of scientific publications in international and national peer-reviewed journals.
