Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savaş Sarıkaya is a cardiologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, completed his residency training in Cardiology at Cumhuriyet University in 2010 and received the title of Associate Professor at Bozok University Faculty of Medicine in 2015.
His clinical interests include rhythm disturbances, heart failure, hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, heart valve diseases, closure of congenital heart defects, pacemaker implantation including ICD and CRT devices, peripheral arterial diseases and interventional cardiology procedures such as transradial and complex coronary interventions.
He is the author of numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals, with research spanning autonomic function, inflammation markers and cardiometabolic risk.
He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology.
