Assoc. Prof. Dr. Musa ÖZTÜRK

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Musa Öztürk is a neurologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, specializing in headache, migraine and multiple sclerosis.

He received his medical degree from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (1979-1985) and completed his residency in Neurology at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital (1987-1992). He later completed a subspecialty in Algology (Pain Medicine) in 2011 and received the title of Associate Professor in 2021, both at Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital.

His career began at the Emergency Department of Niğde State Hospital (1985-1987), followed by nearly three decades at Istanbul Bakırköy Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Hospital (1992-2021) and a period at Acıbadem Atakent Hospital in 2025.

He has supervised numerous specialty theses, served as editor of leading Turkish textbooks on headache, and authored many articles in international peer-reviewed journals including Headache and Cephalalgia.

He is a member of the Turkish Neurological Society and its Headache, Neuroimmunology, Multiple Sclerosis and Algology study groups, the Headache and Pain Studies Association, the Turkish Epilepsy Association, the International Headache Society and the European Academy of Neurology.
