Assoc. Prof. Dr. Münir DEMİREL

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Münir Demirel is a prosthodontist at Biruni University, serving in the Department of Prosthodontics of the Faculty of Dentistry. He completed his undergraduate education at Near East University Faculty of Dentistry (2009–2014) and his doctorate in Prosthodontics at Biruni University Graduate Education Institute (2019–2022). In 2024 he carried out a TÜBİTAK-supported postdoctoral research project in Digital Dentistry at the University of Bern. His academic career at Biruni University includes lecturer and assistant professor positions at the Vocational School of Dental Services (2020–2023) before joining the Faculty of Dentistry's Department of Clinical Sciences, Prosthodontics, as Assistant Professor in 2023.

His clinical and research interests include digital dentistry, implantology, smile design, laminate veneers, All-on-Four/Five/Six applications and aesthetic dentistry. He has published numerous articles in leading international journals in prosthodontics and dental materials, and his research has been recognized with the first prize in oral presentation at the XXXIII International Scientific Congress of the Turkish Society of Oral Implantology (2024) and the Turkish Dental Association 100th Year Young Researcher Incentive Award (2023). He is a member of the Turkish Dental Association.
