Assoc. Dr. Hasret AYYILDIZ CİVAN

Assoc. Dr. Hasret Ayyıldız Civan is a pediatric gastroenterologist specializing in childhood diseases, oral and esophageal diseases, stomach and small intestinal diseases, food allergies, eating disorders, celiac disease, acute and chronic gastritis, constipation, chronic diarrhea, and large intestinal diseases. She completed her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine before undertaking her Pediatrics residency training at Istanbul Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital and her fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She practiced as a Pediatric Gastroenterology Specialist at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital for nearly a decade before joining Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital in 2026. She placed first in the Turkish Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Board Examination in 2016. Her research has focused extensively on celiac disease, congenital enteropathies, and pediatric nutrition, resulting in a substantial body of international peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and ESPGHAN (European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition).
