Assistant Professor Hazel Çağın KUZEY

Assistant Professor Hazel Çağın Kuzey is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine (2002–2008) and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (2009–2013), later earning her IVF certification at the Yeditepe University Hospital IVF Center (2021–2022). Her professional experience includes compulsory service at Muş Malazgirt State Hospital (2014–2015), a position at Medipol Esenler Hospital (2015–2016), an assistant professorship at Biruni University Hospital (2016–2022) and a period at Memorial Şişli Hospital (2022–2023) before rejoining Biruni University.

Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, pregnancy follow-up and childbirth, genital aesthetic operations and laser applications, laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, hysteroscopy, endometriosis, myoma, ovarian cysts, menstrual irregularity and vaginitis. Her research on ectopic pregnancy management and AMH in hyperandrogenemic conditions has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, and her collaborative work on fetal RhD detection received the oral presentation first prize at the 14th National Blood Centers and Transfusion Medical Congress. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (TJOD), the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association, the Turkish Urogynecology Association and the Istanbul Medical Chamber of the Turkish Medical Association.
