Assistant Professor Fulya Özkal MOLLA

Assistant Professor Fulya Özkal Molla is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. She graduated from the English-language medicine program of Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and began her career as a general practitioner at Küçükçekmece Kanarya Health Center. She started her residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Bezmialem Vakıf University in 2011 and became a specialist in 2018. She served as a specialist physician at Esenler Obstetrics and Gynecology and Pediatrics Hospital (2018–2021) and Private Güngören Hospital (2021–2022) before joining Biruni University Hospital in September 2022.

Her clinical interests include pregnancy diagnosis and follow-up, gynaecological surgery, sexual and reproductive health, genital aesthetics and hysteroscopic and laparoscopic operations. Her research on vitamin D in pregnancy, polycystic ovary syndrome and uterine scar healing has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the Turkish Medical Association.
