Assistant Professor Elif Cömert Özer is a dermatologist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.

She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and completed her residency in Dermatology at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2016. Her professional experience includes the Emergency Department of Uzunköprü State Hospital (2015-2016) and Marmara University Training and Research Hospital (2016-2022) before joining Biruni University.

Her clinical interests include pediatric dermatology, allergic skin diseases, autoimmune bullous diseases, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, hidradenitis suppurativa, sexually transmitted diseases, hair and nail diseases, dermoscopy, nevus tracking, skin tumour surgery and follow-up, and cosmetic applications including botulinum toxin, fillers, mesotherapy, PRP, laser, scar and spot treatments.

Her research on chronic urticaria, pemphigus and pediatric dermatology has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including a multicenter study in Allergy, and has been recognized with multiple congress awards.

She is a member of the Pediatric Dermatology Association, the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology Association, the Turkish Dermatology Association and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
