Assistant Professor Betül BALLI DEMİREL

Assistant Professor Betül Ballı Demirel is an orthodontist at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. She completed her undergraduate education in Dentistry at Başkent University Faculty of Dentistry (2009–2014) and her specialty training at the Department of Orthodontics of Biruni University Graduate School of Education (2017–2021), ranking second in her program. Her professional experience includes dentist positions at Başkent University Dental Hospital in Altunizade (2015–2016) and Hospitadent Dental Hospital (2016–2017), where she later served as specialist dentist (2019–2024). She has been serving as Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthodontics of Istinye University Faculty of Dentistry since 2022 and joined Biruni University in 2025.

Her clinical interests include fixed orthodontic treatments, clear aligner therapy, orthognathic surgery for skeletal deformities in adults, appliance therapy for dental and skeletal anomalies in children and adolescents, mandibular and maxillary retrusion and protrusion, intermaxillary discrepancies, maxillary constriction and dental problems such as crowding and spacing. She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association, the Turkish Aligner Society and the Turkish Orthodontic Society.
